Cashapult is a 2-vs.-2 coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party Superstars.
Cashapult is a 2-vs.-2 coin-collecting minigame found in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party Superstars. The name is a portmanteau of the words "cash" and "catapult," an ancient weapon that sends objects flying when the rope is released.

Overview
The differences between day and night in Mario Party 6 are only aesthetic. Only the daytime version appears in Mario Party Superstars.

The minigame opens with a scene of a player jumping off of a cloud into a catapult.
Introduction
Both players on one team first stand on clouds. The first player then leaps off their cloud onto a catapult, after which the screen splits in two.

Gameplay
Teams attempt to get coins from the sky by using a catapult as they stand on it. There are 20 coins above the clouds. The player who is sent flying tries to collect as many coins as possible. Each player on the team uses the catapult twice to collect coins. A whistling sound is audible in Mario Party Superstars when players rise and fall.

Both players on each time have two attempts to collect 20 coins, or as many as they can, after launching themselves from the catapult. Mario Party 6 has an nighttime variation, but without gameplay differences.
