| In ''[[Donkey Kong 3: Dai Gyakushū]]'', Butterflies fly in groups that reach the bottom of the screen. Only one formation of Butterflies may exist at a time. Butterflies move very quickly, moving even faster than [[Super Bee]]s, though unlike Super Bees, they do not fire projectiles at Stanley. They make their first appearance [[On the Ground Picture]], the sixteenth stage. They take one hit to defeat, and give 30 points.
