'''Buried Stones''' is a course which appears in the Story Mode of ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]''. It is given to [[Mario]] by [[Toad (species)|Yellow Toad]], and is set in the underground theme and the ''[[Super Mario World]]'' style. Once this course is completed, Yellow Toad will craft an 8-bit [[Goomba]] statue.

==Layout==
The level begins with a single [[Warp Door]], which Mario must enter. After a few [[? Block]]s and [[Rotating Block]]s and some out-of-reach [[Stone (Super Mario Maker 2)|Stone]]s, Mario must avoid some [[Thwomp]]s and [[Muncher]]s to reach a [[Warp Pipe]] spawning [[Yoshi's Egg]]s. Mario must then utilize a [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] to grab one of the Stones; once they reach a set of [[Note Block]]s, Yoshi must spit out the Stone to reach the platform above, then swallow the Stone again from the other side to reach the [[Giant Gate]].
