However, they are not safe, as they will open their mouths to eat anybody who tries to come near them. A [[Trophy]] of a Bulborb has also been seen.

In ''[[Wario Ware: Smooth Moves]]'' [[Pikmin 2]] minigame, the [[player]] can take the control of other variety a related species called the [[Empress Bulblax]], who must be used to roll over and squash all nearby [[Pikmin]].
