Buffaloafers are initially found grazing on grass in one place. When they notice the [[Kong]]s, Buffaloafers try to attack them by ramming their large, crooked horns into them. The Kongs can simply jump over them to avoid getting rammed, but the enemies will change direction immediately. If the characters jump on top of a Buffaloafer, the enemy will throw them up in the air, causing them to lose control briefly but without inflicting damage. | |||
When they are lured into a wall, Buffaloafers turn upside-down and reveal their vulnerable bellies, where the Kongs can apply three stomp attacks to defeat them. They can also be turned on their backs if the Kongs collide with a [[Roll Attack|roll attack]] into their ramming horns.
