Most of the Brothers Bear have a [[Banana Bird]], which [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] and [[Kiddy Kong]] can usually obtain by providing them with a unique item. Every Brother Bear's name starts with the letter "B". All of them reside in similar types of cabins, which only differ by color scheme and small cosmetics. Every Brothers Bear location was redesigned in the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|remake]], giving each of them a unique interior. The remake also adds another Brothers Bear, [[Bachelor]], adding him to [[Lake Orangatanga]] and relocating Barnacle to [[Pacifica]].

In ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]'', the Brothers Bear are replaced with [[Bear (Donkey Kong Land III)|Bear]]s resembling [[Bazaar]]. Bears operate the [[Sheepy Shop]] around the Northern Kremisphere, where the [[Kong]]s can play [[cards]], pay two [[bear coin]]s to hear a hint, or pay five bear coins to teleport to another area in the world map.
