In battle, the first Brobot fires homing missiles and straight shots at the party. The missiles can be destroyed by shooting them. Occasionally he uses a laser attack that projects from his eyeballs, but this can be dodged by flipping. He can open his mechanical mouth wide and inhale to try and suck the player in, then chomps on them.

Brobot L-type has very similar maneuvers, as well as the abilities of stomping and grabbing. If the player places Boomer in range of his inhale attack, the [[Pixl]] would be sucked inside and explode, doing a hefty amount of damage.
