It can be completed at any point, and takes place inside of the [[Crate Guy]]'s [[crate]] shop. The Crate Guy asks [[Mario]] to play a game that involves smashing all of the crates in the building within thirty seconds, and also promising a "prize" should Mario succeed. There are a handful of crates in a random pattern, and Mario must smash them all as soon as the challenge is accepted. If Mario fails to smash them all, he can leave and reenter the building to retry it. As soon as all of the crates are destroyed, the Crate Guy congratulates Mario and rewards him with a [[Shine Sprite]] Smashing the crates and then talking to the Crate Guy only causes them to respawn as soon as the timer begins. | ||
