==Gameplay==
The game takes place in a desert, and the three team players try to climb a sandy slope, while the other player controls a machine that can fling [[boulder]]s at them in an attempt to block their path. If squished by a boulder, a player is stunned and slides down the hill. If one of the team players reaches the top of the hill, they all win, but if the solo player manages to keep the team players from going on top of the hill, that player wins. In *Mario Party Superstars*, the physics for the team of three are more slippery and realistic.

===Trio Challenge===
In ''Mario Party Superstars'', this minigame is available in Stage 1 and Stage 4 of the [[Mt. Minigames#Trio Challenge|Trio Challenge]] in [[Mt. Minigames]].

In Stage 1, human players play as a team against an Easy CPU solo opponent, and the rank requirements are:
* A: Win with at least 15 seconds left
* B: Win with 10–14 seconds left
* C: Win with 5–9 seconds left
* D: Win with 1–4 seconds left

In Stage 4, a single human player plays against Easy CPU opponents, and the rank requirements are:
* A: 150%–300% (combined distance of the team members to the goal, compared to the distance that a single team member has to climb)
* B: 100%–149%
* C: 50%–99%
* D: 1%–49%
