Boo-Bye is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.
Boo-Bye is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name is a pun on the word "good-bye," generally used when someone is leaving.

Overview
Introduction
The opening shows a Boo appearing to try and sneak on the player, only to fail when they turn to face it. The Boo is forced into a nearby painting, which then changes red.
The player is standing on one of the area's platforms when a Boo appears behind them. It attempts to sneak up on the player, but they turn around and stop it. The character then leads the Boo to a nearby portrait, where it is trapped inside the nearby painting, which switches to a red Boo portrait.

In gameplay, the player tries to guide red, blue, and white Boos into entering paintings. If the player traps a Boo, they earn 100 points, or even an addition 100 points for every additional Boo also caught at once. More Boos appear as the minigame continues, and the player loses if they touch a Boo. In the Shroom City mode, the goal is to earn 1,000 points.
Gameplay
The player must lure the Boos that appear toward the paintings that match their colors to earn points while avoiding them. There are three different colors of Boos: red, blue, and white. Like in standard games of the Super Mario franchise, if the player looks at a Boo, it stops moving. The player earns 100 points for every Boo that is trapped inside a portrait and 100 extra points for every Boo that is captured at the same time. More Boos appear every time the previous group is trapped. The minigame ends when the player is hit by a Boo.

The title is a play on the word "good-bye."
In the Shroom City mode, the player must earn 1,000 points to win.

The center portrait, the one the first Boo went through at the beginning, changes every time a Boo goes through it in this order: white, red, blue.
