A '''Bomb Bud''' is an item from the game ''[[Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam]]''. It resembles a large, black [[fruit]], but when plucked, it looks like a [[Bob-omb]] with no legs. They are used to destroy the electrical gates, and also to harm [[Kamek]] in the mission [[Outta the Way, Kamek!]] The trio can use [[Trio Grab]] to grab a Bomb Bud, but if held for too long, it explodes on them. 

Bomb Buds reappear in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Brothership]]'' on [[Skorcheen Island]]. In this game, a brother can pick up and hold one by himself, and Mario and Luigi can also toss it back and forth to each other.
