The bomb can destroy the boxes, and cause bombs in the box formation to explode as well. Missing the timing makes the bomb bounce off and fall off the screen, where it explodes harmlessly.

Bombs appear in the [[Luiginary Ball]] and [[Luiginary Stack]] games of [[Battle Broque Madame]] as hazards. Touching a bomb disperses all Luiginoids, instantly ending the game.

Bombs explode prematurely if touched by Yoshi, damaging him, although Yoshi can grab the bombs with his tongue and hold them into his mouth for an unlimited time, then spit them at [[Shy Guy]] towers or wooden log structures to collapse them.

Bombs are critical in the boss fight against [[Naval Piranha]]. When one is spat into Naval Piranha's mouth, it explodes and reveals the plant's weak point.
