| Blooper's Secret Lair, or Acorn, is the secret level for Acorn Plains in New Super Mario Bros. U. As its name suggests, the level's main enemies are the Bloopers. The player unlocks this level after reaching the secret exit in Tilted Tunnel. Completion of this level allows the player to bypass Layer-Cake Desert, Sparkling Waters, and Frosted Glacier via a rainbow, some rocks, and pipes in Sparkling Waters' area, leading the player to Jungle of the Giants in Soda Jungle via some logs. | | Blooper's Secret Lair, or Acorn Plains-, is the secret level for Acorn Plains in New Super Mario Bros. U. One of the game's few underwater courses, the level is, as stated, filled with Bloopers. The player must have found the secret exit in Tilted Tunnel to reach this course. Completion of this level skips Layer-Cake Desert, Sparkling Waters, and Frosted Glacier, and provides access to Soda Jungle, bypassing The Mighty Cannonship. |

| This level begins on a platform made of Warp Pipes, with one that leads the player into the underwater section. The underwater section has many Jet Pipes that forces the player in a certain direction or expel Bloopers. The section begins with two Jet Pipes on the left side. A ? Block containing a power-up is found, followed by two diagonal Warp Pipes containing Bloopers. Yellow Jet Pipes that alternate blowing currents are found, along with three more Bloopers. A ? Block containing a power-up is followed by another Blooper, as well a section with multiple Jet Pipes and rotate ninety degrees. The player continues through a section with more Bloopers and rotating Warp Pipes, including a group of four Warp Pipes that move in a circle. A Red Ring is found, along with more Jet Pipes and a Blooper in a section leading to a Warp Pipe that leads to the next area. Two Bloopers are found at the beginning of the area, which is vertical and contains Jet Pipes that rotate in circles. On the right side next to the red Warp Pipe is a Hidden Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. A Warp Pipe at the end of the section leads to the area with the Goal Pole. | | This course has many pipes, most of which either pump a current that will force the player in a certain direction or expel Bloopers. Many of the pipes that expel water rotate, in places requiring the player to wait for this to happen to be able to continue or forcing them to take a longer path rather than what would be a shortcut. Many coins in bubbles litter the course. |
