The level begins with a single [[Big Spiny]]. The player will then fall onto an [[! Switch]] to turn outlined blocks solid and vice versa. After hitting another ! Switch, the player will encounter a [[Lakitu]] with the first Pink Coin. After crossing some block towers and hitting another ! Switch, the player must simply jump and grab the Pink Coin from the Lakitu. After crossing a [[Brick Block]] structure containing a Big Spiny, the second Pink Coin is reached. The player must simply jump onto the elevated line-control platform and jump again to grab it. After crossing a [[Piranha Plant]], the player must jump on a series of cloud platforms to obtain the third Pink Coin. After crossing a [[Koopa Paratroopa]] and climbing down, the player must touch a [[Red Ring]] and follow the trail of [[Red Coin]]s to obtain a [[Super Star]], necessary for collecting the fourth Pink Coin. The player must then take the lower route and cross two pairs of red [[Warp Pipe|warp pipes]] to the fifth and final Pink Coin. After crossing more Big Spinies, the player must hit an ! Switch, then jump up and hit a [[P Switch]] and follow the [[Blue Coin]]s to an elevated warp pipe to reach the [[Goal Pole]].
