A Mega Spike appears as a boss in the [[Road to Superstar]] mode. It walks and hops around, dropping [[Brick Block]]s and [[Giant Spiked Ball]]s from the sky, and kicking the latter downwards. The Mega Spike can also land on top of a amiibo card, stunning it for some time. When it reaches half health, it gets angry and targets the amiibo cards more fiercely.
