Big Mr. I. is a large Mr. I that appears as a boss in Super Mario 64. He can be found in Big Boo's Haunt. However, to reach him, Mario has to go up to the attic, which leads to the balcony. Mario must then go to the balcony on the second floor, grab the Vanish Cap, and run into the Boo painting in the attic. He is then in a room with Big Mr. I. and his Boo ally, and he must get his attention. Once he does, Mario must run around Big Mr. I. once either clockwise or counterclockwise, causing Big Mr. I. to get dizzy and spin around uncontrollably until he disappears and turns into a Power Star. In Super Mario 64 DS, Luigi is required to defeat Big Mr. I, since he is the only player character who can turn invisible. Big Mr. I., along with the Big Bully, Big Boo, and Chill Bully, does not speak to the player character or have the boss theme play during his fight.

In Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64, Big Mr. I. occasionally appears on the scorecard.
Big Mr. I is a large Mr. I that first appeared as a boss in Super Mario 64 and has since made subsequent appearances in the Mario Party series.

Big Mr. I first appeared in Super Mario 64, where he could be found in Big Boo's Haunt. However, to reach Big Mr. I, Mario has to go up to the attic, which leads to the balcony. Then Mario must go to the balcony on the second floor, grab the invisible cap and run into the Boo painting in the attic. He will then be in a room with Big Mr. I, and he must get his attention. Once he does Mario must run around Big Mr. I once in either clockwise or counterclockwise, causing Big Mr. I to get dizzy and spin around uncontrollably until he disappears and turns into a Power Star. He appeared again in its Nintendo DS remake, Super Mario 64 DS with the same role and abilities. Big Mr. I is among the few bosses that neither speaks to Mario nor has the boss theme play during their fight.

Mario Party series
Mario Party 2
In Mario Party 2, Big Mr. I appeared in Horror Land, although his name is changed to Mr. I Laser. If a player pays him ten coins, he'll roll himself to the player and force them to run away by running across the game board in a certain direction until stopping at a Mr. I Space; if a player is on Mr. I Laser's route, the player is also forced to run away from the rolling Mr. I Laser.

Mario Party 3
In Mario Party 3, Big Mr. I is featured in the Battle Minigame "Eye Sore". The objective of the game is to run around Big Mr. I fifteen times until he finally disappears. As the characters run around Big Mr. I, he will gradually shrink. Players should avoid bumping into Big Mr. I or one of the many Podoboos that pop up, for they will stun the player for a few valuable seconds.
Mario Party 5
In Mario Party 5, the Mr. I Laser is a weapon in the garage.
Mario Party 8
In Mario Party 8, he appears as the third Mr. I in the minigame Eyebrawl along with what appears to be a double or a duplicate. The objective is to use the Wii Remote to rotate the pointer on-screen around him until he becomes dizzy enough and disappears.

Character Description
Personality
Although not much is known about his personality, he shares the same behavioral traits as the rest of his species. He seems to be somewhat vengeful as shown in the "Eyebrawl" minigame from Mario Party 8, where he will summon numerous Mr. Is to scare the player for having defeated many Mr. Is. However he has been known to be helpful for a price as shown in Mario Party 2, where he will help the player cross the board for 10 coins.

Abilities
Big Mr. I has the same powers as the rest of his species, such as shooting lasers, invisibility and levitation. In Mario Party 2 he is capable of rolling into players, something no other Mr. I has displayed. In Mario Party 8 it is shown that he can summon numerous Mr. Is to scare the losing player.
