The player may use [[Thudley]] to [[Body Slam]] the tentacles or use Bowser's firey breath to sear them.  The firey-breath may be the safter choice, but takes longer.  Slamming or burning the blue tentacles makes the more-sensitive red tentacles bob upwards with more frequencies.  It is a good idea to slam exposed blue tentacles across the bottom of the screen, by the player will lose [[Heart Point]]s if he misses.
