'''Behind the Shoji''' is the second level of [[Ninjarama]] and the thirtieth level overall of ''[[Yoshi's Crafted World]]'', an autoscrolling level with moving shoji doors that cover parts of the screen, rendering the stage behind as silhouettes. There are no checkpoints in this level.

==Overview==
===Front side===
To begin, [[Yoshi]] must walk through the shoji screen. On the wall inside the house are different colored paper fans as displayed decorations. First, there is a [[Shy Guy]]. Next are two [[coin]]s above two blocks. Yoshi can break the right block to reveal a [[Winged Cloud]], which he can hit to reveal more coins. There is then another Shy Guy, then more coins with a [[Rush Heyho]] below them. After that is a Winged Cloud above a [[Ninja Guy]]. This cloud contains five [[Heart (item)|hearts]]. Below this are blocks Yoshi can break to get to a [[Smiley Flower]]. Up ahead is a Rush Heyho, as well as blocks overhead Yoshi must break. To the left is a Shy Guy and a hidden Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit to make coins, including one [[Red Coin]], appear. To the right is another Shy Guy and a spinning Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit to make some more coins appear. Yoshi must then [[Ground Pound]] a tile to flip it vertically, allowing him to get to four coins and a [[10-Coin]] on the left side.

To the right are Rush Heyho above a pit of spikes, with scrolls which unravel once Yoshi steps on them. Once Yoshi reaches the top, a [[Fly Heyho]] swoops in, followed by a Winged Cloud, followed by another Fly Heyho. This cloud contains five more hearts. There is a stack of blocks nearby Yoshi can break to collect a group of coins as well as three red coins. Along the way are three Rush Heyho, followed by a Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit to get a few more coins. There are blocks nearby Yoshi can break through to get to coins and a Smiley Flower. To the right is a 10-Coin and two regular coins between two Ninja Guys. There is also a [[Piranha Plant]] between two groups of coins up high, with two red coins among them. Shortly after this are scrolls above small pits of spikes, with blocks overhead Yoshi can break. On the first set of blocks, there are two Shy Guys, each holding a red coin. Above the second set is a Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit to make a Smiley Flower drop down.

The next section is filled with blocks and coins, with two red coins in the top left corner and a Smiley Flower near the center. Once Yoshi reaches the end of this section, the shoji on the left side of the screen splits in two, creating a shoji on the right side of the screen as well. After this section is a hidden Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit to make some coins fall down, with a red coin falling a few seconds later. A while after this, a spinning Winged Cloud appears to the left, containing five hearts. In this area, there are coins and a Smiley Flower between two Rush Heyho. Two red coins can be found shortly thereafter. There is a present box hidden behind a block, containing multiple coins, including one red coin. After a set of spikes, there is a [[Time Cloud]]. If Yoshi hits it, three sets of [[Blue Coin]]s appear nearby. If Yoshi collects them all in the given time, one last Smiley Flower appears. After that, there is a Piranha Plant with a Winged Cloud above it. If Yoshi hits this cloud, two sets of coins appear below him, with a red coin in the middle of each.

Here, Yoshi must crouch to get into a small section with coins and scrolls, with spikes below. Along the way, Yoshi can find the last three red coins and a 10-Coin surrounded by even more coins. Once Yoshi reaches the next section, the shoji screens come together, filling up the entire screen and creating shadows out of everything. Yoshi must then make it over a few pits of spikes. At the end, there is a large, dragon-like creature. However, the shojis fall off, revealing that the dragon is merely a Shy Guy playing with craft material. Yoshi simply needs to throw an [[Yoshi's Egg|egg]] at the Shy Guy to make the craft dragon fall apart. He is then able to go directly to the goal where a picture of his house is displayed on the wall.

===Flip side===
Due to the shoji screens appearing behind rather than in front of Yoshi, there is no longer a shadow effect.
*The cyan [[Poochy Pup]] is in the crowded section with the purple scrolls, running along the top row.
*Before the shojis come together, the black Poochy Pup can be spotted hanging from a cloud in the background.
*In the narrow spot between the two shojis, the pink Poochy Pup can briefly be seen on a stem in the background.

Three more Smiley Flowers are awarded for collecting at least 100 coins in the level, completing the level with 20 hearts, and collecting all 20 Red Coins. In the flip side, three are awarded for bringing all three Poochy Pups to the goal, and one more for doing so within three minutes.
