The Power Star is visible behind a set of iron bars, which can be removed only by [[Ground Pound|ground-pound]]ing the [[stump|post]] that the Chain Chomp's chain is attached to three times. This frees the Chain Chomp, letting it break the bars and escape. In ''Super Mario 64 DS'', the Star is slightly lower, and its associated mission is unchanged; however, there are a few more methods to obtain the Star. The player can use [[Vanish Mario|Vanish Luigi]] to phase through the bars, and [[Wario]] can flatten the post with a single Pound the Ground attack.
