A third sub-species exist, called Sea Buckies, appear in three water stages in the game, once in the [[Pineapple Kingdom]]'s level Pristine Sea, a second time in the [[Grape Kingdom]]'s level Sweet Paradise, and a third time in the [[Peach Kingdom]]'s level Arctic Plunge.
