A '''Badge Bandit''' is a purple-colored [[Bandit]] that can only be found in the [[Pit of 100 Trials (Rogueport)|Pit of 100 Trials]] during the events of ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. Unlike other Bandits, these thieves can steal [[Badge]]s. Stolen badges cannot be recovered unless you use [[Ms. Mowz]]'s  [[Kiss Thief]] move. [[Mario]] should use a [[Boo's Sheet]] or a [[Volt Shroom]] or equip a Zap Tap Badge to stop Badge Bandits from stealing his hard-earned badges. The plumber can also protect himself by consistently [[guard]]ing or [[superguard]]ing the attacks of these Bandits. If if a badge is stolen and run away with, it can always be recovered because he will be reingaged in battle.
