Baby Bowser is the final boss in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its port. He appears at the end of his castle as Kamek is demanding that Yoshi hand over Baby Mario, waking and complaining that "it's too noisy". He then Ground Pounds Kamek and kicks him away, noticing Yoshi immediately afterward and wanting to ride the "gween donkey." Baby Bowser attacks by ground pounding wherever Yoshi is, creating shockwaves on the ground, which Yoshi can also do to attack him. If Baby Mario is knocked off of Yoshi's back, Baby Bowser climbs onto his back instead; if Baby Mario is saved afterward, Baby Bowser will be stunned. After three hits, Baby Bowser is beaten. Kamek shows up and uses his magic on him, causing him to grow into the Kaiju Big Baby Bowser, destroying the castle around him. Baby Bowser ends up being returned to his normal size, and knocked out. Afterward, Kamek reappears and vows revenge before flying off with Baby Bowser. Yoshi then sprints up to the Stork and Baby Luigi, freeing them both and allowing the Stork to deliver the babies to their parents. Baby Bowser is also the only boss who must be defeated before Kamek casts a spell on him.

Baby Bowser is a major antagonist in Yoshi's Island DS. Baby Bowser is at his castle when his future self shows up to kidnap the star children and gain control of the universe. Baby Bowser is ironically abducted by the future Kamek from the past Kamek and brought to Bowser's Castle. When he realizes the circumstances, he insults his grown-up self and his plan. Baby Bowser is kicked out of the castle by Bowser, oblivious to Baby Bowser being one of the star children. Baby Bowser vows revenge after landing and then yells into the sky to try and remind his adult self that they are the same entity. Baby Bowser then notices Baby Mario and tells him he saw Baby Luigi in Bowser's Castle. Baby Bowser then realizes that he has just landed on Yoshi and is stoked to get a ride from him. Baby Bowser becomes playable for the remainder of World 4. Baby Bowser's fireball attack replaces Yoshi's ability to swallow, and the attack is essential for melting ice cubes. Once Big Guy the Stilted is defeated, Baby Bowser leaves Yoshi's group in an attempt to hitch a ride from the future Kamek as he flies off to report to the adult Bowser. However, Baby Bowser loses his grip and falls off of Kamek's broomstick. Baby Bowser fought with Baby Wario over treasure at some point, and he rejoins the Yoshis when they reach Bowser's Castle. Baby Bowser eventually betrays them and attacks Yoshi and the other babies, believing they are after his treasure. The fight goes much like the previous one, but faster. After a defeat, Baby Bowser is taken away by Kamek, leaving the group to the future Bowser, who is angry at what Yoshi did to his younger self. In the ending, following adult Bowser's defeat, Baby Bowser falls off Kamek's broom and lands on a barge carrying his treasure, now claimed by Baby Wario, and the two get in a fight again.

Baby Bowser appears in the form of a few collectible items in the Super Smash Bros. series. In [[Super Smash Bros. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Baby Bowser is a Legend-class Neutral-type smashwiki with two empty slots and no extra attributes. The [[Spirit (Super Smash Bros. The stage is covered entirely in flames, meaning players get damaged if they have no lava immunity support spirits equipped. After the tiny Bowser is defeated, a large Bowser appears with more HP and with super armor.

Baby Bowser is the final boss in Yoshi's Woolly World and its reissue. Baby Bowser is the sole baby character of both versions. He retains a similar voice to Bowser Jr. Statues based on Baby Bowser are a core mechanic of the game's final course, King Bowser's Castle, and he is the boss of that course. Baby Bowser makes no appearances in the game prior to this point, and for those unfamiliar with the Yoshi franchise he could be considered a twist villain.
Baby Bowser is the final boss in Yoshi's Woolly World and its reissue. Baby Bowser is the sole baby character of both versions. He retains a similar voice to his future self's son, and he is first seen waiting for Kamek to give him yarn to make "a big new castle". Then, Yoshi suddenly appears and Baby Bowser starts the battle with him. Yoshi must throw a yarn ball (provided by one of three red Shy Guys that periodically fall from the top of the screen) at Baby Bowser, then ground-pound him, and repeat this three times to defeat him. After Baby Bowser is defeated, Kamek later uses the power of the Wonder Wool to make him transform into Mega Baby Bowser. After the Wonder Wool finally unravels, causing all of the single-color-and-white Yoshis to return back to normal, Baby Bowser is taken away by Kamek, and is last seen near a moon with Kamek carrying him. Poochy pops out from behind the moon, causing Kamek to get spooked and accidentally drops Baby Bowser as the game's closing credits begin to roll.

The final room of King Bowser's Castle is a playroom for Baby Bowser. When entered, a cutscene plays out where Baby Bowser waits impaiently for Kamek to return with the yarn so that he can have "a big new castle". Kamek shows up and gets berated for being late. When Yoshi appears, Baby Bowser does not recognize him but assumes he wants the yarn and attacks. Kamek assists Baby Bowser from the background.

Baby Bowser has a number of attacks that increase in scope across the boss battle. He always opens with high and short jumps in either direction, jumping an additional time off of the screen edges and Yoshi. Between his jumping, he can stop to breathe fire at Yoshi. This has a substantial wind up. Sometimes, he will jump in place to face Yoshi, then jump above directly above him. With a cry, he stops and performs a Ground Pound, which is potent enough to rattle the blocks of the room in the background, cause two lava geysers to appear to Baby Bowser's left and right, and cause three red Shy Guys to drop from the ceiling. The Shy Guys land equidistant from each other. Shy Guys are destroyed on contact with Baby Bowser and any of his attacks. This includes the Ground Pound, which rattles the room enough to KO them from any point in the room. Baby Bowser can be jumped on and bounced from, but this has no effect on him. Fire breath from a fire watermelon or ice breath from an ice watermelon can interrupt his attacks. Baby Bowser can be tied up by throwing a yarn ball or Poochy Pup at him. If left alone, he will break free and resume attacking. While tied up, Yoshi can ground-pound him to inflict damage.

Once Yoshi bounces off and Baby Bowser stands up, Baby Bowser retreats into the background to attack. He jumps to one side of the screen and shoots fire breath into the sky, raining down the main plane. The first volley drops in a staircase pattern on one side of the screen, leaving space on the opposite side. The sides are reversed for a second volley. with Baby Bowser hopping to the other side of the screen to fire. Lastly, Baby Bowser stands in the center of the screen and shoots two streams of fire at once. These streams come down from the left and right sides of the screen, leaving space in the center. This is followed up by a Bowser's Flame launched up to the center of the top of the screen. Before it comes down, Kamek causes it to grow and reknit itself to be more solid. Then it drops, splashing a puddle against the ground. Note that the splash does not inflict damage.

Baby Bowser returns to the main plane. He gains the ability to jump straight up and flutter, then spit a stream of fire directly at Yoshi while in the air. He cannot turn around during this jump, and therefore cannot fire backward. There is less time between each of his normal jumps. He can also jump to Kamek in the background, getting a ride from him while he sends streams of fire across the ground and back to the main plane. They move to Yoshi's current position, then Baby Bowser sends sends three streams forward in a spread pattern. He does this twice, with the second version using a center stream with double the width. This sequence ends on a third attack with two wide streams aimed to Yoshi's left and right. After this attack, Baby Bowser jumps back to the main plane, landing on the nearest screen edge before dropping down. Baby Bowser does not use the basic fire breath attack.

After being hit again, Baby Bowser retreats to the background and repeats his falling fire attack. However, this version ends with three Bowser's Flames, the second and third landing to the left and right of the first. Before returning to the main plane, he jumps onto and off of Kamek, aiming for the far edge of one side of the screen. While still in the air, Kamek uses his magic to increase Baby Bowser's size temporarily. In this state, Baby Bowser is immune to all attacks. Baby Bowser uses a Ground Pound, and the resulting lava geysers are larger. SHy Guys do not appear for this attack. Baby Bowser repeats this twice more, aiming for Yoshi on the remaining two Ground Pounds. The background is noticeably more rattled by these attacks, but Shy Guys are unaffected by this rattling. After the third Ground Pound, Baby Bowser returns to normal size. He can use any of his prior attacks now except for breathing fire while riding Kamek. He can even repeat the magic enhanced ground-pound attack, though he has to jump to Kamek in order to start, which telegraphs it heavily. If Baby Bowser takes damage one more time, he is defeated.

After switching to a cutscene, Kamek uses power of the Wonder Wool to transform Baby Bowser into Mega Baby Bowser. The drastic size increase knocks the roof of the tower and both Kamek and Yoshi away, leading to the final battle. After Mega Baby Bowser is defeated, Baby Bowser returns to normal, though he stays unconscious The Wonder Wool that made up his larger body is reknit into all of the single-color-and-white Yoshis. Baby Bowser is taken away by Kamek, leading into the ending where they fly past the moon.  Baby Bowser wakes up and begins throwing a tantrum. Poochy startles the both of them from the moon, spooking Kamek and causing him to drop Baby Bowser. A skit plays out across the ending credits involving all three characters and a Bomb Guy.

If the player collects all five of the Wonder Wool in King Bowser's Castle (the Wonder Wool that are collected in the level, not all the ones in the cutscenes), they reknit Baby Bowser Yoshi, who is a playable character. Baby Bowser is the final boss of the Boss Tent where he must be fought alongside Mega Baby Bowser in a single Boss Challenge with no checkpoint between the battles. As with other Boss Challenges, Baby Bowser and Kamek move faster in this version.
