'''Axem Yellow''' is one of the [[Smithy Gang]]'s [[Axem Rangers]] who appears in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]'' and [[Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)|the remake]].

When noticing Mario pursuing them and commenting on the latter's mustache alongside his comrades, he mentioned, apparently unaware of it being Mario, that the guy was a "worse looking clod" than Mario, prompting [[Axem Green]] to berate Yellow and point out that was in fact Mario. In the Japanese version of the same scene, Yellow instead suggests they just go back to the preceding room to officially announce themselves when his comrades realize they forgot to introduce themselves to Mario, only for Green to point out to the rest of his comrades that Mario is already present. Yellow later proceeded to recover the Star Piece after [[Axem Red]] accidentally dropped it while fleeing Mario, prompting him to tell his leader that he's "all thumbs."

He is the bulkiest of the five and as such, has the highest physical attack and defense, like [[Bowser]]. Axem Yellow wields a small axe, like all of the other Axem Rangers. He usually attacks by jumping in front of a [[party member]] and swinging his axe, though occasionally he spits out a water droplet instead. When hit with a physical attack, he responds by attacking a party member with the move [[Body Slam (Super Mario RPG)|Body Slam]].

Like his comrades, when defeated, Axem Yellow gives an excuse for not being able to fight anymore. His excuse is "I'm hungry!" [[Axem Red]]'s response is, "Chew on your tongue!" This was later referenced with his Machine Made version's Thought Peek quote.

Later he, along with the rest of the team, is fought as a mass-produced [[Machine Made]] copy in the [[Factory (Super Mario RPG)|Factory]].
