The badge costs 0 [[Badge Point]]s to equip, and when equipped changes the sound effects of [[Mario]]'s [[Jump]] and [[Hammer]] attacks, though the sound differs between the original game and the [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|Nintendo Switch remake]]. If multiple Attack FX badges are equipped, the sound effects play one at a time.

In the [[Nintendo GameCube]] version, it can be purchased from the [[Lovely Howz of Badges]] after Chapter 6 for 100 [[coins]]. When equipped, it changes Mario's attack sound to that of [[Bowser]] growling.
