| Astro-Lanceurs move slowly, and their direction ignores [[Mario]]. It is set depending on the location. Ones on the Moon Kingdom's main map always move in a counterclockwise circle, but the others can move in a circle, move back and forth in a very shallow arc, or not move at all. When they see Mario, they try to stare at him to aim. However, they cannot look at especially high or low angles, and therefore their aim is imperfect. Occasionally, they spit red cone shell projectiles to attack, regardless of if Mario is actually in the sight line. These shells fly directly forward but slowly, exploding on impact. If they fly out into the distance, they vanish without an animation.
