The '''Anniversary Tour''' was the hundred-and-fifth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on September 20, 2023 and concluded on October 3, 2023. It was rerun from September 18, 2024 to October 1, 2024 as the game's hundred-and-thirty-first tour.

This tour celebrated the game's fourth anniversary, while the rerun celebrated its fifth anniversary; like the previous [[Anniversary Tour (2022)|Anniversary Tour]], it did not include the number of elapsed years in its name. This was the final tour in ''Mario Kart Tour'' to introduce new content to the game; all tours following it recycle content from previous tours, starting with the [[Battle Tour]] beginning on October 4, 2023. It was announced in an in-game news post titled "About Upcoming Scheduled Tours" on September 11, 2023, much earlier than usual for tours.

This tour also introduced the third routes for [[Tour Athens Dash|Athens Dash]], [[Rome Avanti]], and [[Madrid Drive]], as well as the R/T variants for [[Tour Berlin Byways|Berlin Byways 3]] and [[Tour Sydney Sprint|Sydney Sprint 3]]. In addition to the new courses, [[Gold Mario]] debuted as a fully playable character after having appeared exclusively in the [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] mode since the beginning of the game, and the [[Gold Mario Cup]] also debuted as the final new cup for the game. The final wave of [[Mii|Mii Racing Suits]], Wave 41, which only consists of the [[Koopa Clown]] Mii Racing Suit, was also released.

The tour's course selection consisted of the third routes of every city course in the game (with the exception of [[Tour Los Angeles Laps|Los Angeles Laps]], which used Los Angeles Laps 2, the third route of that course to be added to the game), as well as both [[Tour New York Minute|New York Minute B]] and [[Tour Paris Promenade|Paris Promenade B]], making this the first tour since the previous Anniversary Tour to consist entirely of [[new course]]s and the first tour overall since [[Battle Mode]]'s introduction to not feature a [[Classic course|classic battle course]].

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was Tokyo Blur 3, which was reused from the [[Summer Festival Tour]]. The menu's background featured the [[Parthenon]] and the {{wp|Athena}} statue as the landmark for this tour, which was reused from the [[Spring Tour]].

This was the last tour to feature the fourteenth set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Expert Challenges|Expert Challenges]], which first appeared in the [[Night Tour]]. This was also the first and only tour to not have any drivers, karts, or gliders in the Spotlight Shop just for the second week of the tour.

In the rerun, 2 Karts are added to the Rewards, the [[Red Standard 8]] and the [[Green Standard 8]], where the former was given for free and the later part of the Gold Pass. Also in the rerun, [[Baby Rosalina|Baby Rosalina (Detective)]] and the [[Soaring Jack]] also were added in the Spotlight Shop.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[Tour London Loop|London Loop 3T]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Koopa Clown Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
