'''A Trick of the Wind''' (also referred to as '''Girls Bonus 2''' and '''Girls +2''') is the second Girls bonus episode in the Story Mode of the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Nintendo 3DS)|Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]''. The episode is unlocked after completing [[An Innocent Request]], and unlocks [[The Real Beginning]] once it is completed.

==Plot==
[[Princess Peach|Peach]], [[Amy]], [[Blaze]] and yellow, blue and purple [[Toad (species)|Toads]] are working on the athletes' invitations for the Olympic Games. Amy finishes rewriting the invitation for Dr. Eggman, and the rest of the group finish their work, which puts them back on schedule. They prepare to put stamps on the envelopes when [[Princess Daisy|Daisy]] arrives, explaining that she was passing through and decided to drop in. Blaze asks her to help as they are tight on time, and Daisy agrees to help. Amy asks Daisy where she was heading, and she explains that she was going shopping. Amy asks if she can come too, and Daisy invites her to come, though Peach and Blaze ask Amy to stay behind and help even if Daisy cannot. Peach suggests that if Daisy can beat her in an Olympic [[Event]] then Amy can go with Daisy, though if Peach wins they both stay behind to help. Daisy accepts the challenge and teams up with Amy, while Peach teams up with Blaze.

Peach beats Daisy, and the group prepare to get back to work, but decide to go for a short walk first. While the group is out walking, a strong gust of wind blows, and when they return they find that the wind has blown the invitations away. They set to work trying to collect them all back up, and find when they are done that two are missing. Yellow and Blue Toad find the invitations in the lake and confirm that they are [[Bowser]]'s invitation and the rewritten one for [[Dr. Eggman]]. Peach and Amy start working to rewrite the damaged invitations, while the rest of the group start working on adding the stamps.
