'''A Cold Greeting''' is a [[Darkmess Puddle]] battle in ''[[Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope]]'', located inside the [[Winter Palace]], at the Entry Hall. This battle is part of the Main Quest [[The Winter Palace]].

This battle is the first in the Main Story to introduce [[Sea Stooge]]s, which apply the [[Splash]] Super Effect with their projectiles and Dash. The heroes must defeat 12 enemies to win. After the battle is won, the [[Spark (Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope)|Spark]] [[Pyrogeddon]] joins the heroes on their adventure.

==Layout==
The battlefield is symmetrical. The heroes start at a platform with 2 Sea Stooges there too. There are pipes that connect across the battlefield, with three platforms total. The left and right platforms have 2 Sea Stooges and a [[Scoper]] each, with a ramp leading to the high ground. The Scopers are on the high ground of their respective platforms.

==Battle==
During the battle, indestructible [[Darkmess Portal]]s will appear at the left and right platforms, containing a single Sea Stooge for each portal. After 12 enemies are defeated, the battle is won, and Pyrogeddon joins the heroes on their adventure.
