The '''2-Star Hex''' is a type of [[Hex]] in ''[[Mario Party DS]]''. The player who possesses it can choose to place it on any [[Blue Space]] or [[Red Space]] within five spaces from their current location. Then, if an opponent lands on it, 2 [[Power Star|star]]s will be taken from them. If the player/team who threw it lands on it, the hex will be cancelled out, but they will receive 5 [[coin]]s. But, if the player does not have any stars, the hex will fail and won't have any effects, whatsoever.  It can be picked up in the [[Hex Area]] or stolen from another player by the [[Snag Bag]].
