Tib was a captive held by Mimi in Merlee's Mansion who appeared in Super Paper Mario. He is a poor boy with problems in his love life. He missed many chances to meets girls in the past because he's a bit clueless. But then one day, he got a girlfriend and came to the Mansion seeking Merlee so she could read his fortune and tell him if the future for him and his girlfriend looked bright. But because of his clueless nature, he was kidnapped and forced to work for Mimi instead. After Mimi leaves, he and most of the prisoners were set free from the Mansion.
