Palm Shore is a popular battle course for both battle modes in Mario Kart DS. However Shine Runners is where the course really shines. Its huge and has a lot of item boxes in the center and on the inner shore. The course's shallow water will change every few seconds or so. If the player goes into the shallow water the kart drastically slow down. Its popular because its a huge open space though the shallow water makes players slow down.
