Kraid is a dragon-like monster that normally appears in the Metroid series as an enemy of Samus Aran. Mario can encounter this beast in the Planet Zebes level in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee. Kraid will rise out of the acid and rotate the stage, sending Players who are not quick enough into the acid.
