- “It's true what they say. The grass is always greener, and you don't really know what it is you have until it's gone...gone...gone...”
- —Conker, Conker's Bad Fur Day
Conker the Squirrel (also known as Conker The Squirrel and Conker T. Squirrel; later known as Private Conker Squirrel, Conker the King, The King, and The Kingster) is a long-time friend of Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, and Banjo.
In Diddy Kong Racing, Diddy Kong, with help from Squawks the Parrot, manages to contact Conker, asking for help in defeating the evil Wizpig. Conker answered Diddy's plea and ventured to Timber's Island to help in the quest to drive Wizpig off the island.
After aiding Diddy Kong in beating Wizpig, Conker returned to his home where he had some of his own adventures, most notably the M-rated Conker's Bad Fur Day. Conker has also briefly appeared in the N-Gang comic "Freeze Frame."
