Chomp (Donkey Kong Country series)

Chomps are Piranha Plant-like enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They first appear in the second level of the jungle. They will jump up and try to bite Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong. They will only take away one heart if they damage the player. They are based off Snapjaws from Donkey Kong Jr.
