Template:Infobox Donkey Kong Country Returns is a side-scrolling 2.5D platform game developed by Retro Studios, and confirmed for the Wii at E3 2010. It will be released on November 21, 2010 in North America and on December 3, 2010 in Europe. Although no more release dates have been announced, it is scheduled to be released during the Holiday season of 2010. It includes Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. It is the fourth game from the Super Nintendo game series, Donkey Kong Country. So far Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Cranky Kong are the only Kongs that have been confirmed to be in the game. It has also been confirmed that the Kremlings will not appear, along with underwater stages.[1] Star Barrels will be replaced with pigs as well.
