Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition
Template:Justreleased Template:Articleabout Template:Infobox Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition, known in Japan as Super Mario Collection Special Pack (スーパーマリオコレクション スペシャルパック), is a Mario game for the Wii which was released in Japan on October 21 and will be released in Europe on December 3, 2010[1] and in the U.S. on Dec. 12, 2010[2] as a Wii port of the SNES game Super Mario All-Stars. The game is a tribute to the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. and include the Super Mario History 1985-2010 booklet, that tells about Mario's history, and a CD with many Mario game soundtracks from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The game has not been announced yet for Australia.
The game is itself a direct port of Super Mario All-Stars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, with the difference that supports 4:3 and 16:9 screen radios. To play the game the Wii Remote must be hold sideways, similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii without the motion features.
A special logo has been released to celebrate the 25th Anniversary, and was used in the game.[3]
A red package sporting the 25th Anniversary logo contains both the game disc and the extras.[4]
On the Wii's Nintendo Channel as well as at the websites for the anniversary, there is a video celebrating the 25th Anniversary in all regions. The video uses game footage from the Japanese versions, but the differences to the English releases are minimal.[5] Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels is only featured in the Japanese version of the video.

Trivia
- It is likely that the reason Super Mario All-Stars was the chosen game for re-release on the Wii is because it has never been available on the Virtual Console.
