Logs are obstacles in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. They appear in many levels. They are wooden logs that come up from the ground, and Yoshi must Ground Pound them. Coins and Red Coins can occasionally be found in these. They also appear in Super Mario 64 and it's sequel, in Super Mario Sunshine, they were replaced by Nails.
