Talk:Delfino Plaza
Beta Image?
Is that a pre-release screenshot? It looks like a Beta Delfino.
- The only thing beta in that screenshot is how Mario's life points are displayed. Wa TC@Y 15:40, 14 February 2007 (EST)
The textures still look different... Are you SURE it isn't Beta Delfino?
- This sure looks different from the final version. Where's the water? Cobold 16:03, 14 February 2007 (EST)
Seriously, Look at the corner of that building on the left. tell you the truth, we really should put this on the beta page. the picture, not the article. Because:
- No water
- Look at the green on "Beta" Corona mountain! (Is that there in the "Final" version?)
- LOW detail
- the roof is flat! (Literally)
- That texture is NEVER used in the final
- the most obvious, the health bar

- Yes. Remove the image, but only place it in Beta Elements if you think the pic is notable enough. -- Son of Suns
It is. Read above. if you can't see any difference than reply. Maxlover2 19:46, 14 February 2007 (EST)
- You can still remove the image. If you think it is notable, add it to the Beta Elements page. I have no opinion on the matter. -- Son of Suns
Can someone else? I can't move pictures. if you can, thanks Maxlover2 19:50, 14 February 2007 (EST)
Mario Party 7 Appearance
Though I'm not 100% sure, I believe I saw a mini-version of Delfino Plaza (easily identified by the large lighthouse, as well as the building style) in a mini-game in Mario Party 7. The mini-game's aim was to pop the most balloons in the allotted time, as you flew around a large area in a helicopter. It was 4-player, but I don't remember the name. x_x
I could have sworn I saw Delfino Plaza there, however. Could someone verify that, and add it if I'm right? Thanks. :)

Yeah, the stage you're talking is the Goomba's Booty Boardwalk. And yes, it is based on Isle Delfino. As for the mini-game, it copuld take place in any location. Lets just wait till the game comes out and don't jump to any conclusions.

- He's actually talking about a minigame in Mario Party 7, not a board in Mario Party 8. YELLOWYOSHI398
YellowYoshi's right. It's a mini-game in 7, not a board in 8. I'll check to see if I can find the name...
EDIT:: I believe it's called "Helipopter", or something to that effect. Anyone remember this, or know if Delfino Plaza was in it? Thanks. :)
~ Luigi hc
EDIT::: After playing Mario Party 7 over the weekend, I found the name of the game again. ;) The name is "Helipopper" -- it's a Battle Minigame, not four player. Far to one side of the Helipopper game, is a large ocean, along the shore of which is the Delfino Plaza Lighthouse. There are a row of buildings (such as in the harbour, near the helicopter pad in Super Mario Sunshine-- ironic, eh?), but no Shine Gate, or anything of the sort. Should it be added in that the lighthouse is seen in this Battle Minigame?

Brawl Stage
Shouldn't the stage have its own article instead of being here? XzelionETC
Yoshi's Island doesn't have a separate article either, so no.Knife (talk) 00:10, 3 August 2007 (EDT)
You Haven't Noticed?
Has ANYONE noticed that one of the stages in Super Mario 64 DS is the music on Delfino Plaza? If you don't, you've got to be kidding me. Seriously. SmartOne
Music
I've noticed that the music from Gelato Beach, Ricco Harbour and Bianco Hills is the Delfino Plaza music remixed. Should this be in only the Delfino Plaza article and have the information about those three stages remixing each other's music be removed? Lemmy Koopa Fan (talk)
Mountain Enterance
It it worth mentioning in trivia that on the brawl stage the gate to Corona Monntain is open. Doesn't it say that it's closed for public safety or something? Just though about it now.--TimTamChimchar 12:03, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
