Chance Cube

A Chance Cube is a item that appears in the Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are found in numerous levels and one can be found on Starship Mario. Chance Cubes are depicted as a cube with two pictures of a 1-Up Mushroom, a coin, and Bowser's face. When stationary, it will just be floating in place. When Mario does a Star Spin on it, the cube will fly back and land in a similar fashion to a die. Whatever picture is face up is what Mario will earn. As the name implies, the object is entirely based on luck and Mario could skip the object if he wants to. If a 1-Up Mushroom is shown, Mario will earn a 1-Up Mushroom. If a coin is depicted, Mario will win some coins. If a Star Bit is depicted, Mario will only earn one Star Bit. However, if Bowser's face shows up, Mario will need to battle an enemy, usually a Goomba.
