Sky Station Galaxy

The level begins with Mario flying through a series of clouds, eventually landing on a disc-shaped planetoid. The player can see Yoshi's House nearby, but he's not there. A Luma appears and tells Mario that the Power Stars have been stolen by a monster. The level is the introductory stage of the game, taking place before Mario lands on Starship Mario, according to the Japanese official website. The galaxy introduces the player to the gravity based gameplay and spherical planets of Super Mario Galaxy 2. The player follows Lumas throughout the stage, who will lead Mario to Launch Stars, and eventually the boss of the level, Peewee Piranha.
