King of Thrill is a 2-vs.-2 mini-game in Mario Party 8. It is played similar to Super Paper Mario: Wii Remote held sideways, Control Pad is to move, 2 button is for jumping and 1 Button for punching. 2 and 1 at the same time is kicking. The name is a pun of the TV show, King of the Hill.

Gameplay

There will be three mountains similar to the ones in the Mount Duel mode in Mario Party 6. On each one are two characters. The two characters on the little mountain will start fighting until one of the characters falls off. The character that won will jump to the last mountain. Meanwhile the player's partner will be doing the same thing-fighting. If the player's partner wins he or she will advance to the last mountain and the player will win. However if the player's partner loses, the player will have to fight another character. If the other character loses, the player wins. However if both players fall of the final mountain a fly guy will decide who wins by carriing 1 player and dropping him on the mountain

Ending

Both winners (or the remaining winner) will stand on the third mountain and do their winning poses. On the background of the stage a pair of Fly Guys' silhouettes carrying the two losers can be seen.

Trivia
