One of the Boost Pads that appear in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!.

Boost Pads (also called Dash Panels, Zippers, Rainbow Boosts, or Turbo Tiles) are special zones that appear in the Mario Kart Series. The appearance of these items have changed through out the games history from flashing rainbow Panels to green panels to just plain Yellow and red pads. Boost Pads are used to increase speed of the Karts, specially essential to use in great obstacles as big jumps and slopes. If the player uses a Mushroom on any of these pads, then nothing will happen, however, the player will go faster if the player slipstreams on it.

History

Mario Kart series
