The Tape is a special item that is found only in Paper Mario. Koopa Koot owned this item as he loaned it to Goompa a long time ago, now he wanted this item back. If Mario asks Goompa for the tape; he will get it in this house and give it to Mario. Mario is curious of what's inside of the tape, unfortunately; Goompa can't tell Mario what's in the tape at the moment although he said that the tape he listened to was great.
Trivia
- The Tape is comparable to the Box from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Both are sidequest items from early in the game that Mario is not allowed to see the contents of.
