Shouldn't this be moved to 1-Up, since that's an official name from the games? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

In case it helps, the Super Mario Bros. manual states:
If Mario picks up 1 up mushroom, he gets an extra life.
"1 up" is used only as part of the item here, and "extra life" as the term for the additional life you get by collecting it.--vellidragon 09:43, 4 February 2010 (EST)
