An announcement about it used to be at the top of the Wiki, but the 'Shroom advertisement replaced it. 3dhammer.gif 3D, Visit my talk page! 3dhammer.gif

Officially, text is only supposed to be linked once, either in the article (preferrably) or in the image. I sometimes link text in images that appears in the article out of habit. It's actually not that big of a deal. Feel free to change articles that violate this rule, but you probably don't need to get on other's cases if they fail to follow this policy. Oh yeah, I was also a member of Wookiepedia. I stopped editing over there when I realized this wiki needed a lot more help. -- Son of Suns

Bold Text in Image Captions

It really doesn't matter to me. I do both. You really don't need to have bold image titles, but if you feel they are better, please make the changes. However, some images are so small that bolded text won't fit in the frame. Keep that in mind. I just asked Wayoshi and he supports bolded text, as they help empasize the article in question. Go from there. =) -- Son of Suns

Re: Two Questions

Very thoughtful questions.

  1. I tend to use "Yoshis". I am not sure if whether that or "Yoshies" is the correct spelling, but someone else might know.
  2. Unfortunately, no. We did have an extension installed, but it only counts edits in the article namespace (no talk, user, category, template, or MarioWiki pages, among others, counted). In that area, you have quickly made it high on the list with 859 edits on 466 pages. ^_^ Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 16:01, 9 January 2007 (EST)

The canonically correct plural form of Yoshi is "Yoshis". This was proven by Knife in the Yoshi talk page, under the Super Mario Sunshine section. The Great Sunflower specifically says "Yoshis" in the game itself. -- Son of Suns

Should this template be changed, then? --Yoshi626File:Egg.PNG 16:13, 9 January 2007 (EST)
The name of the template can stay. That's not a big deal. However, the header in the template should say "Yoshis" not "Yoshies". -- Son of Suns
