Mario and Luigi use the High Jump.

High Jump is a move in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Super Paper Mario. In both games the move is different, however it is used to do the same thing: get to high places.

In Superstar Saga, Luigi jumps on top of Mario to reach high places. It is used more than the Spin Jump in the game.

In Super Paper Mario, Luigi can use this move naturally. Like in its aforementioned use it is used to jump to normally unreachable places. Also like its predecessor, if Luigi hit a ceiling, he floats down like a piece of paper. Unlike Mario, however, he can be controlled and maneuvered in that state. If an enemy is attacked while Luigi is going up, the damage he deals is doubled. As well, if the player presses 2 while Luigi is falling, he will return to normal, and get a small Double Jump in the air.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, the bros can use this move if Mario uses an air vent to balloon himself, with Luigi holding him.
