Peach's Plane, flying.

Peach's Plane is a pink plane owned by Peach. Mario, Peach, Toadsworth and some Toads used this plane to fly to Isle Delfino in Super Mario Sunshine. The plane landed at Delfino Airstrip, however it was forced to come to a screeching stop, as strange Goop covered most of the runway.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Peach again uses this plane to get to the Beanbean Kingdom, however, when she arrives at the Beanbean International Airport, it is congested by Piranha Plants and the Mom Piranha, preventing the plane from landing. Mario and Luigi get rid of the Piranhas so Peach's Plane can safely land. After the player beats the game, the plane is used by Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toadsworth and Bowser to go back to the Mushroom Kingdom (although Bowser was dropped to his castle mid-flight).

In Mario Golf: Advance Tour it makes a small cameo appearance, when it is shown bringing Neil and Ella to the Mushroom Kingdom.

The Plane's Interior

Inside of the plane there appear to be 4 (possibly 5, depending on the arrangement) Mushroom-themed seats. There are moderately large windows with elaborate curtains, many fancy details, and a stunning ceiling that is painted (or is possibly a lamp) bright blue with yellow stars and white clouds. Daisy has a plane just like it except all the colours are mixed around (Eg- white stars with blue and yellow clouds).

Trivia

  • The design of Peach's Plane used in Super Mario Sunshine appears to be based on certain real-world Flying Boats and STOL Aircraft such as the Antonov An-72, PBY Catalina, Martin P5M Marlin, Yokosuka H5Y, and Kawanishi H6K, while the one in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is more based on 'Jumbo Jet' Aircraft such as the Boeing 747.
