Time Bob-ombs are small red Bob-ombs with digital timers on their faces that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They appear during the boss battles with the Koopalings and Bowletta. They do not attack the Mario Bros. until the digital timer on their face reaches zero. When it does, Mario and Luigi are instantly knocked out. The timer counts down from 9, and the brothers have only nine turns to beat the Koopalings. However, if Bowletta is beaten, she will instantly call in a Time Bob-omb to knock out the Mario Bros.
Trivia
- These Bob-ombs bare a resemblance to the Bob-ombs seen in Super Mario Sunshine as both have digital faces, however they lack the wind-up key located at the top of their heads.
