Template:Pitenemy A Blazing Shroob is a red Shroob with yellow spots whose head is on fire. They worked inside Thwomp Caverns during the Shroob invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom.

In battle, a Blazing Shroob's attacks depend on if its head is on fire or not. The fire can only be put out by a Jump attack. Although this damages the Mario brother, the number of attacks the Blazing Shroob can perform will be substantially decreased.

When not on fire, a Blazing Shroob can only perform one attack. It will run up to the Mario Bros. and fire its ray gun, just like a normal Shroob, except faster. The ray gun's energy blasts can be easily jumped over. Eventually, a Blazing Shroob will be caught on fire again.

When a Blazing Shroob is on fire, it may shoot fireballs at the Mario Bros. If it uses its right hand, the Blazing Shroob will shoot a fireball at Mario. If the Blazing Shroob uses its left hand, it will shoot a fireball at Luigi. Additionally, a Shroob UFO may join the battle if a Blazing Shroob is on fire. The UFO will light a firecracker with the Blazing Shroob's flame, then fire the explosive at a Mario brother. This attack may light a Bro. on fire if not properly jumped over. If the firework is skinny and green, it will be launched at Luigi; if the firework is wide and red, it will be launched at Mario.

To knock a Shroob UFO out of the battle, a Mario Bro. must jump on the Blazing Shroob the flying saucer is hovering over. When the Bro. jumps up in pain after putting out the Shroob's flame, he will inadvertently hit the Shroob UFO and knock it out the battle. Additionally, if a Blazing Shroob is defeated and its corresponding Shroob UFO remains, the flying saucer will shift position and hover over one of the remaining Blazing Shroobs. If all the Blazing Shroobs are defeated, the Shroob UFO will leave the battlefield.
