“My skills are superior!”
Blaze the Cat, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

Blaze the Cat is a fourteen year old princess from another dimension. At first, she did not know the meaning of "friendship", until Cream the Rabbit showed her friendship, by being one of her best friends. She would sometimes team up with Sonic the Hedgehog. She is also featured as a playable character in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, with her character type being All-Around. Blaze is fast and has the most power of all female characters in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

As is the case with most other Princess characters in the Mario series, Blaze wears a sports attire for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, as opposed to her normal outfit. Unlike Pricnesses Peach and Daisy, Blaze's sports outfit is longsleeved and exposses he midriff. Blaze's ears will sometimes move on their own accord, as to be expected.

Blaze uses a strange purple fire power for her special moves. In the Wii version of her Table Tennis special move, she cries, "Here I go!", spins around surrounded by the fire, and kicks the ball back over the table with a "Kwah!" The ball hovers above the table for a second, then flies down covered with the fire. If this move isn't deflected properly, it will most likely knock the opponent over. In her Fencing special move, Blaze will charge up the purple fire, and it will propel her forward with one strong jab.

Profile

Blaze the cat, another one of Sonic's friends, is an All-Around competitor. As her name indicates, she also possesses no small amount of speed and will be a formidable contender in events like the vault.
